The study, which has been conducted in order to assess the potential benefits and threats of the agreement for the Czech Republic was commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. It is available in Czech only but with an English summary on page 6 of the study.

The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union brings to all the contracting parties significant savings and streamlining of their mutual business relations, especially in the field of custom duties and non‐tariff barriers to trade, access to Canadian public procurement, investment protection and settlement of investment disputes, in the process of testing and certification of products, mutual recognition of qualifications of workers, and access to the market for business purposes.
