A professional association established with the aim of supporting co-operation among companies in the automotive industry. Its members are manufacturers of vehicles, producers of automotive parts and accessories, and organizations involved in research, trade, advisory and engineering activities in the sphere of road vehicles and their parts.

AIA is, based on its membership in the international organizations, a coorganizer of important motor shows and motorcycle exhibitions held in the Czech Republic. These exhibitions are, as the only in the CR in the field given, recognized at the international level and therefore local makers and officially accredited importers participate in them adequately.
