Parental Leave Agreement (Brussels, 23 February 2009)

On 23 February the fourth meeting of the negotiation team for the review of the Parental Leave Directive based on the autonomous agreement of the European social partners was held in Brussels. Despite many positive steps done so far, there is still space for improvement of both the recitals and the text. The negotiation team focused particularly on some critical points in order to conclude negotiations in respective time framework.
