Our hard work paid off - CETA ratified by Czech Parliament
As CETA comes into provisional effect today, we are pleased to announce that last week the Czech Republic has become the sixth EU member country to ratify the agreement.
Since the beginning of the year Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic has held several public forums to emphasise with stakeholders the benefits of the agreement to Czech businesses. We have also lobbied our politicians tirelessly, our representatives made number of appearances in the Czech media and we worked with our colleagues at the Ministry of Industry and Trade to present the pro-CETA case to our politicians and members of the public.
We now call on our European partners in the countries which are yet to ratify the agreement to do the same.
