The Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic has organized, on the occasion of the Czech minister of Industry and Trade's official visit to Mexico a business mission on 21th-27th July.

The programme consisted of a series of meetings between the Czech and Mexican politiciens and companies' representatives. The Confederation's vice-president František Chaloupecký, who has been leading the business mission, has signed a Memorandum on cooperation between the Confederation and the partner Mexican employers' association COMCE. Another memorandum has been signed by the representatives of the Czech Export Bank (ČEB) and the partner organization BANCOMET.

An important part of the programme has been represented by the negotiation of the Czech minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek with his Mexican counterpart and by their meeting with the Czech entrepreneurs.

The participants in the business mission to Mexico have visited the National Water Management Commission of Mexico (CONAGUA) where they have, in the test area, observed the demonstration of TATRA trucks' driveability provided by the extensions for emergency situations' resolution (for example during the floods).

The Confederation's vice-president František Chaloupecký pointed out that the business mission to Mexico has been a successful one.

„I appreciate this journey to be very positive, not only from the point of view of the ministerial-level negotiations, but also from the point of view of the entrepreneurial and companies' level," Chaloupecký said. „I consider very important the fact that the representatives of EGAP, ČEB (Czech Export bank) and CzechTrade took part in the mission as well.

According to his word, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic will develop further the newly established contacts and the cooperation with the Mexican side.
