Možnost zapojit se do průzkumu BusinessEurope ke zkušenosti s fungováním dohody EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

 

Last month marked the first anniversary of the entry into force of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). In light of this anniversary, the Commission published statistics that show export growth in a number of sectors and launched a survey to gather feedback from businesses and other stakeholders on their experiences with the EPA.

Members are encouraged to fill in and disseminate the 10 minute survey as well as provide any implementation-related comments to BusinessEurope on an ongoing basis.

  • First year of implementation shows increase in exports

In the first ten months following the implementation of the agreement, EU exports to Japan went up by 6.6% compared to the same period the year before. This outperforms the growth in the past three years, which averaged 4.7% (Eurostat data). Japanese exports to Europe grew by 6.3% in the same period.

  • European Union Survey on the impact of the EU-Japan EPA – Deadline 30 April

The European Commission has launched a business survey relating to the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). You are kindly requested to disseminate this survey among your members.

This survey is an important opportunity to give EU businesses, business support organisations and other stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback to the EU on how the EPA is affecting EU businesses including on existing market challenges.

Contribution to this survey will prove to be instrumental towards improving the business climate for EU businesses. The survey can be found at the following link and will only take 10 minutes to complete:
