Indická státní konzultační společnost WAPCOS, která se podílí na realizaci projektů v rozvojových zemích, má zájem o spolupráci s českými partnery. WAPCOS využívá fondy indické vlády, ale také fondy Asijské rozvojové banky.
WAPCOS se specializuje na poskytování inženýrských a manažerských poradenských služeb ve třech hlavních oblastech:  vodohospodářství, energetika a rozvoj dopravní infrastruktury:

WAPCOS is handling projects such as dams and reservoir construction, irrigation systems, water supply and sanitation, hydro, thermal and solar power generation, transmission and distribution networks, roads and bridges, ports and harbours, agriculture development, residential and non-residential buildings design and construction, SEZs, IT facilities, railway track laying and electrification, etc.  WAPCOS is currently engaged in the mentioned projects in almost all States and UTs in India. Over 40% of WAPCOS's business is generated overseas, particularly in Asia, Pacific Islands, Africa and in a few projects in the Middle East and Central America.
As part of its business expansion plans, WAPCOS is seeking new business in Central and Eastern Europe.
