CEBRE Founders’ Priorities for EU Institutions 2019-2024

CEBRE - Czech Business Representation to the EU in Brussels was founded by three most important cross-sectoral Czech entrepreneurial and employers´ organizations - the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, the Confederation of Employers´ and Entrepreneurs´ Associations of the Czech Republic and the Czech Chamber of Commerce. CEBRE´ founders presented their priorities for the next mandate of EU institutions 2019-2024 at the event, which brought together representatives of CEBRE´s founding organizations and Czech candidates for European elections. Among other things, the priorities focus on the following:

  • The single market must not be threatened by national barriers
  • EU trade policy must promote trade and investment openness for our companies in third markets
  • Data economy requires a secure and open digital infrastructure
  • Environmental policies must be in line with EU's share of global environmental pollution and take into account the real potential of Member States
  • Available and qualified workforce is a guarantee of growth and employment
