We welcome nomination of the new European Commission

As the biggest representative of employers in the Czech Republic, we welcome the establishment of the new European Commission and we are ready to effectively co-operate in tackling important challenges and issues ahead of us.

Head of our office in Brussels and permanent delegate to BusinessEurope, Mrs Jana Hartman Radová, stated: “Our Confederation appreciates the determination of the new Commission to safeguard European values which represent key sources of the success of the European project, and we look forward to co-operation with Ms Ursula von der Leyen and her team of commissioners. It is essential, nevertheless, to keep in mind that within the dynamic global environment it is the economic strength and competitiveness that underpin the European prosperity as well as our way of life. Therefore, I am confident that European wellbeing with solid foundations in healthy economy with competitive industry remains our common goal. The new European administration takes over in a moment, which can have a far-reaching implications for our future.”
