EU business wants coordinated border restriction easing

We are sharing with you the common statement of leading business organizations of the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria appealing all respective governments to elaborate coordinated regime of border crossing in the way that allows restart the economic activities of companies and individuals. We fully respect the necessity of balancing health risks and economy; however imposed measures have to be realistically achievable and financially acceptable. It includes mainly making those measures coordinated, perfectly communicated on both sides of the respective border and not too burdensome when it comes on time and money. We, as the business community are ready to help tackling the pandemic crises but we need the governments to create appropriate conditions and ensure necessary legal certainty.
