Czechs and Russians signed a declaration on cooperation

We want to do business in favor of both countries, the Confederation's president Hanák said.

Within the business mission to the Russian Yekaterinburg organized by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, in which the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek took part, the representatives of the Confederation signed a declaration on cooperation with the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday 9th July.

Both partner organizations want to expand their cooperation in the trade, economy, science, technological development and other fields. The declaration on cooperation should facilitate mutual contacts of the member companies of both subjects as well. For the Czech side, the declaration has been signed by the Confederation's president Jaroslav Hanák, for the Russian one by his counterpart Andrej Besedin.

In the business mission to Yekaterinburg, three dozen of important Czech companies' directors took part. In the Sverdlovsk region and its heart Yekaterinburg, they are searching for new business and entrepreneurial opportunities. It is just the signature of the declaration on cooperation between the Confederation of Industry and the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation that should strengthen the mutual relations.

The importance of the mission has been demonstrated by the fact that the three dozen of mission participants have been joined by other 25 top representatives of the Czech companies that will take part in the International engineering exhibition INNOPROM. Within the exhibition, a conference under the name „Russian-Czech Dialogue: Possibilities of Cooperation in the Industry" has been organized in which the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov had taken part.

„There are a lot of examples that we are able to cooperate in the investment field and establish the joint-ventures," the Confederation's president Jaroslav Hanák said. „Essentially, it concerns the Sverdlovsk region and Yekaterinburg. We wish to have as few conflicts as possible and as few ideology as possible, we want to do business in favour of both countries."
