  European SME Business Mission to China. The mission will focus on green
  industries and will take participants to Shanghai\, Suzhou\, and Chengd
 u for a programme of B2B meetings\, networking events\, seminars\, indust
 rial park visits and participation in the 2024 Europe-China Fair. Explore 
 the potential of the Chinese market for your business with the support of 
 the EU SME Centre!\n \nMission dates\nFrom 22 September to 27 September 2
 024.\n \nItinerary\nShanghai\, Suzhou\, Chengdu\n \nProgramme highlights
 \nWith this trade mission\, you will get an opportunity to:\n\n- Participa
 te in the 18th Europe-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair in C
 hengdu.\n- Visit the Sino-European Industrial Parks in Suzhou.\n- Meet wit
 h well-established and successful European SMEs in Shanghai.\n- Join exper
 t talks on China’s economic outlook and market trends.\n- Take part in t
 echnical trainings on export procedures and market regulations.\n- Establi
 sh relationships with potential partners in China.\n- Have face-to-face me
 etings leading to possible business opportunities.\n\n \nWho can apply?\n
 This call for applications is open to SME owners and individuals working 
 for SMEs\, start-ups\, or clusters and industry associations from the Euro
 pean Union and countries associated to the Single Market Programme\, activ
 e in the following industries:\n\n- Green technologies\n- Renewable energy
  sources and energy storage\n- Environmental services\n- Water treatment\n
 - Sustainable equipment manufacturing\n- Recycling\n- Waste reduction\n- A
 dvanced materials\n- Green service providers along the supply chain\n- Oth
 er green development solutions.\n\n \nCost\nThe EU SME Centre’s service
 s are funded by the European Union and are free of charge to the mission
 ’s participants. All the meetings\, seminars\, receptions\, and other a
 ctivities included in the programme are covered by the EU SME Centre.\nPar
 ticipants are responsible for covering their travel\, accommodation\, and 
 meal costs\, including:\n\nFlights and other travel expenses to and from 
 China.\nInter-city travel within China from Shanghai to Suzhou\, and from 
 Suzhou to Chengdu.\nHotel accommodation in Shanghai\, Suzhou\, and Chengdu
 .\nOther living expenses in China\, including local transportation and m
