 :00 – 10:30 Brussels Time16:00 – 17:30 Beijing Time\nDecarbonisation o
f the electric power system is key to achieve the “double carbon” targ
et under which China aims at reaching peak carbon use by 2030 and carbon n
eutrality by 2060. However\, to meet the target\, businesses operating in
the country cannot simply stop using coal power\; they have to integrate m
ultiple sources of energy and optimise the combination of sources.\nAmong
renewable energy sources\, solar photovoltaic power generation plays an im
portant role. Its advantages make it particularly suitable to meet today
’s energy challenges and place it at the centre of the power supply syst
em of the future\, which will need to succeed in both generating and stori
ng energy.\nOn 24 November\, the EU SME Centre and the European Union Cham
ber of Commerce in China are organising a hybrid workshop to discuss the c
urrent policies\, technologies and engagement of European SMEs in solar ph
otovoltaic power generation in China.\nThis event is designed to help Euro
pean SMEs understand the regulatory landscape of green energy and the pros
and cons of photovoltaic power compared with other green energy options.
During this event\, prominent industry players and analysts will share the
ir best practices and guide SMEs on where and how they can build up a low-
 carbon electric power system.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda(Beijing Time)\n15:30 –
