 \nElectronic waste or E-waste has emerged as serious problem across the gl
 obe. India is among the top 03 countries in the world\, in terms of e-wast
 e generation.  \nGiven the rise in e-waste and poor environmental health\
 , India has taken conscious steps highlighting the urgent need to attend a
 nd manage these wastes by introducing EPR in E-waste Management Rules 2016
 . some concrete steps have already been directed by both industry and wast
 e management companies for managing electrical or electronic wastes.\nFurt
 her\, the growing culture of e-learning and work from home has also added 
 to the consumption of electronic devices and concurrently the generation o
 f e-waste. With a number of waste management solutions providers already o
 perating in India\, the opportunity to turn this growing stream of waste t
 o worth exists.\nTowards realizing the rise in e-waste problem\, Confedera
 tion of Indian Industry in partnership with Blue Planet Environment Soluti
 ons is organizing a webinar on Addressing the E-waste problem with experie
 nce scheduled on 29 July 2021 from 1500 – 1615 Hrs (3:00 pm India Time 
 - Mumbai\, GMT+05:30).\nThe objectives of this webinar are to understand h
 ow electronic and electric equipment manufacturing companies are managing
