ITF 2026 Summit: Funding Resilient Transport
The International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD invites participants to attend the ITF 2026 Summit, the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers, taking place on 6–8 May 2026 in Leipzig, Germany.
The Summit will be held under the Presidency of Azerbaijan and the Vice-Presidency of Czechia and will bring together policymakers, business leaders, international organisations and academia to discuss the future of transport and mobility.
The ITF Annual Summit is a premier global platform for dialogue on transport policy. Each year, participants meet to address key strategic challenges shaping transport systems worldwide. In 2026, the focus will be on “Funding Resilient Transport.”
This year’s programme will explore how to mobilise investments and financing strategies to strengthen the resilience of transport systems, with an emphasis on:
- long-term connectivity and infrastructure development
- efficiency and reliability of transport operations
- innovative financing models and partnerships
The Summit offers a combination of high-level discussions, networking opportunities and expert insights across all transport modes:
- Meet transport ministers and senior policymakers from 69 countries
- Connect with industry leaders, investors and international organisations
- Gain insights into global transport trends and financing strategies
- Present projects and engage with international media through dedicated media facilities
