Webinář "Jak využít dohodu CETA a zda rozšířit její oblast působnosti“
On 8th September, the EU Delegation in Canada and the DG Trade, in collaboration with DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, and the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), will organise a webinar entitled ‘How to make use of the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) Protocol on Conformity Assessment and whether to extend its scope’ to which you are cordially invited. The webinar is part of a series of events organised around the fifth anniversary of CETA’s provisional entry into force. The Agreement remains a core driver of the EU’s privileged and very solid relationship with this close ally and like-minded partner. The current geopolitical context creates a momentum for even closer cooperation between the EU and Canada.
The webinar is an opportunity to learn about the Conformity Assessment Protocol, its implementation, and the respective roles of the European Co-operation for Accreditation and the European Commission in the implementation of the Conformity Assessment Protocol. It will also give an opportunity for an interactive discussion on the EU’s interest to extend the Conformity Assessment Protocol’s scope.
