Vietnam is interested in Czech radars and aircrafts

The Confederation of Industry has co-organized a business forum in the Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vietnam ministry of foreign affairs has shown interest in Czech products, especially radars and aircrafts. Such is the result of the meeting with the representatives of the Czech defense industry hold in Hanoi during the business mission organized by the Confederation of Industry of Czech Republic in the last October days within the official visit of the Czech minister of foreign affairs Lubomír Zaorálek.

„The Vietnamese side wants to cooperate in the defense industry field, they are interested in radars and aircrafts,“ Zaorálek pointed out.

„In the next years, the environmental protection will be of most importance,“ he added. „In this regard, we can offer the wastewater treatment plants and industry ecologization. Vietnam is interested in medical devices and hospital equipment as well. Of great demand are investments in transport infrastructure.“

„We are building on many traditions, including the latest business forum in Prague, co-organized by the Confederation of Industry, in which the presidents of both countries took part,“ the Confederation’s vice-president Stanislav Kázecký said to one hundred Vietnamese entrepreneurs at the Czech-Vietnamese business forum in the Ho Chi Minh City.

„There are plenty areas where we would wish an intensification of our collaboration,“ Kázecký continued. „The Czech companies are presenting a top technological level and an excellent know-how.“

After leaving Vietnam, the Confederation’s business mission continued to Malaisia where two business forums took place in Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur.
