Kuchtová took over the function of a SP’s General Director

Dagmar Kuchtová, a longtime director of the External Relations section of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic has took over the function of a Confederation’s General Director on 1^st of October 2014. She has replaced Zdeněk Liška who had been at the head of the Confederation’s Secretariat for fifteen years and retired on 30^th September.

The Confederation’s Board decided that Kuchtová would become the new General Director at its June session after she had won the two-round selection process. She has started to take over the function of Confederation‘s General Director at the beginning of August.

To her new tasks will belong the improvement of the client service for the Confederation’s member companies including 28 member associations and 122 individual member firms.

„A more distinctive client service for our member companies will be one our priorities,“ Kuchtová said.

She wants to increase the Confederation’s influence in the regions and, in cooperation with the branch associations, to gain new members as well as to strengthen the voice of the Czech industry in Brussels.
