Czech entrepreneurs signed business agreements in China

The business mission organized by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic on 23th to 28th October 2014, accompanying the Czech president Miloš Zeman on his visit to China, has produced a series of concrete results. In signing several business agreements and memoranda of understanding, the business trip has confirmed good political relations between the People’s Republic of China and Czech Republic.

„We were surprised by a pronounced interest in negotiations with the Czech delegation showed by the Chinese companies,“ Confederation’s president Jaroslav Hanák said. „It has been confirmed by the fact that the representatives of Chinese high political and business circles have participated in the events linked to the business mission.“

During the visit to China, the První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš engineering company has signed a memorandum of understanding on development and serial deliveries of the microturbine APU for the new Chinese transport aircraft with the AVIC Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry Group.

„Together with the business agreements for the next years, signed simultaneously, the value of the contracts amount to one billion Czech crowns,“ Milan Machovec, the board president and director general of the První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, announced.

The entrepreneurship delegation has signed an agreement on a common Chinese-Czech industrial zone for the environmental technologies and an agreement on environmental technology transfer and common production of nano-fotocatalytic materials in the province of Sichuan as well.

In Beijing, a memorandum on cooperation in aviation industry with the business representatives in the town Xi’an in the Chan-si province has been signed. The representative of the ŽĎAS JSC has signed a business agreement on new equipment and technologies deliveries for a stelwork and  forging line with the HEBEI IRON and STEEL GROUP Co., Ltd..

Least but not last, a license agreement for the brewery in the town of Tianjin with the population of 10 million inhabitants has been signed between the Pivovary Lobkovicz JSC and Tianjin Jin-European Catering Management Co, Ltd.

The main event on the Monday programme has been the business seminar in Beijing organized by the Confederation of Industry together with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

„More than one hundred representatives of important Chines companies interested in the contacts with our entrepreneurs have visited the seminar,“ the Confederation’s new director general Dagmar Kuchtová said.

In the town of Chengdu, a gala dinner has been organized by the Confederation of Industry in the cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Trade agency. At the gala dinner, the informal talks with dozens of local business representatives have been conducted.
