First meeting of national and regional tripartites

The representatives of the Council of Economic and Social Agreement of the Czech Republic have met the leaders of the regional tripartites at the first historic meeting on Monday 10th November. The main topics, discussed at the meeting in the Lichtenstein palace, have been the economic growth and employment‘s promotion, drawing on the EU funds, secondary education reform and regional social dialogue.

„It is the first tripartite meeting,“ the Confederation’s head Jaroslav Hanák stressed. „I hope that this new tradition will contribute to the future key regional topics‘ pursuing at the national tripartite level.“

The Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka informed the social dialogue‘s partners about the Action plan on economic growth and employment promotion, resulting from the important strategic and conceptual plans of the government, as well as about the proposals to promote the growth in the Czech Republic.

The regional tripartite representatives have informed their partners about the social dialogue‘s state of affairs as well about the functioning of the regional organizations.

The governor of the Jihomoravský region and the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic’s head Michal Hašek invited then the leadership of the Confederation of Industry to the January session of the regional governors.
