More than eighty entrepreneurs form part of a delegation accompanying Czech president Zeman on his official visit to Central Asia.

Czech entrepreneurs have launched the business-oriented part of the programme of the delegation that has come with president Miloš Zeman to Kazachstan and Tajikistan. The business mission is headed by the Confederation of Industry’s president Jaroslav Hanák.

In the mission, Czech companies representing the engineering, automotive, aviation, arms and water management industry take part. Under the participants, there are also representatives of the Czech Export Bank (ČEB), the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) and the Technological Agency of the Czech Republic.

The main event of the mission in the metropolis of both countries are Czech-Kazakh business forum in Rixon Hotel Astana and the Czech-Tajik business forum at the National library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe in which the president of the respective country will take part.

In Kazachstan, ten memoranda or agreements on cooperation or memoranda on project realization will be signed.

„It is obvious that our mutual commerce doesn’t fulfill its potential,“ Confederations’s president Hanák said. „I hope that the mission and the agreements signed with our partners will contribute to the stimulation of this potential.“
