Czech-Chinese business forum

China invites Czech companies to cooperate in the machinery and electrotechnics fields.

The Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic has organized, together with the Chinese Chamber for Export and Import of Machinery and Electronic products (CCCME), a business forum in the Prague hotel Hilton on 3th July in which more than one hundred entrepreneurs from both countries took part.

The forum has been run under the auspices of the Chinese embassy in Prague. The opening speeches have been pronounced by the Confederation's president Jaroslav Hanák, CCCME's president Zhang Yujing and Chinese Trade councillor Cheng Youngru.

For the Chinese participants in the forum, of a great interest has been the information presented by the Electrotechnics and Electronics Sectorial manager of the CzechInvest agency, Martin Kratochvíl, followed by the presentation of the strategic industrial zone Holešov, performed by the Industry Servis ZK's Board vice-president Jakub Černoch. The aim of these presentations was to introduce the Czech Republic as a suitable destination for investors and a reliable partner for industrial and business cooperation.

There is a long-term cooperation between the Confederation of Industry and the CCCME. Already in 2002, both organizations have signed a memorandum of cooperation. Given the importance of machinery, electronics and electrotechnics within our industry, we await that the event will bring to the participants many useful contacts. We hope that we will cooperate with the CCCME in the future as well because another successful event has been realized by both partners just last year.
