The Czech government has to resolve the problematics of unfair insolvency proceedings.

The Confederation of Industry's vice-president Jan Rafaj took part in the economic ministers' and social partners' meeting concerning the fulfillment of the Action Plan to Promote the Economic Growth and Employment on Thursday 16th July. The Action Plan has been approved by the government in December last year.

„The government is developing the social dialogue and consulting the basic measures in the economic policy field," Rafaj pointed out. „The best evidence of it is today's meeting of the economic ministers to which the tripartite representatives have been invited."

The participants in the meeting agreed that among the successfully fulfilled objectives of the plan figured the approval of the Operational Programmes for 2014-2020 and advertizing of the first calls to draw money from the EU funds. During the first five months of this year, the Czech demanders have drawn 1,14 billion euros from the EU funds, dedicated mostly to promote innovation and education.

The investment incentives programme for foreign investors has been developed as well. Until the end of May, the ministry of Industry and Trade has issued two dozen decisions amounting to 251 million euros aiming at creating 1580 new jobs. The intention has been supported by the law amendment on investment incentives, taking effect from this year's May. The cooperation between the ministry of foreign affairs and the CzechInvest agency has improved as well.

This was the second meeting between the economic ministers and the social partners organized by the government of the prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka. The next meeting will be held in some three months time.

„This government has to guarantee the preparedness of large infrastructural projects in the transport field," Rafaj summarized requirements of the Czech business with the aim to enhance the competitiveness of the Czech economy. „In the entrepreneurial environment, the problematics of unfair insolvency proceedings that endanger the very essence of the market economy's functioning has to be resolved."
