Informační balíček k přepravě zboží - "Jak se připravit na Brexit"

Nizozemsko se připravuje na důsledky Brexitu pro obchodní toky přes rotterdamský přístav a jinde. Výsledkem je informační balíček z Velvyslanectví Nizozemí v Praze pro ty, kteří obchodují prostřednictvím 'Gateway of Europe'.

 

Pro přepravu zboží přes Nizozemsko to znamená registraci u „Portbase“, digitálního systému, který zajistí plynulý tok dopravy zboží přes kterýkoli z pěti nizozemských přístavních terminálů. Další informace naleznete níže ve shrnutí „Get ready fro Brexit ' a v odkazech.

EU a Spojené království v současné době intenzivně jednají o dosažení dohody ve zbývajícím krátkém čase. Nizozemsko plně podporuje M. Barniera a jeho tým, aby ve zbývajícím čase dosáhli nejlepších možných výsledků na základě mandátu EU. Je v zájmu všech, aby bylo dosaženo široké dohody.
Je však důležité si uvědomit, že ať už bude dohoda nebo nebude, vztah se Spojeným královstvím se po skončení přechodného období změní. To například znamená, že od 1. ledna 2021 musí podnikatelská sféra zohlednit hraniční kontroly a související postupy a papírování. Ve všech scénářích - včetně scénářů pro případ vyjednání dohody nebo omezené dohody - je nutná příprava na konec přechodného období. Jelikož Spojené království již nebude členem vnitřního trhu a celní unie, budou společnosti v každém případě muset zohlednit hraniční formality a tedy delší čekací doby na hranicích.

Get ready for Brexit
A major change is coming. On 31 December 2020 the Brexit transition period will end, along with the United Kingdom's participation in the EU common market. Everyone - both businesses and the public - will face new procedures in the United Kingdom and in the rest of Europe, including new customs and border procedures.
Seaports in the Netherlands, Belgium and France are the gateway to Europe for any sea freight travelling to and from the UK, or through it to Ireland. It is therefore essential for all stakeholders in the integrated supply chains across Europe to prepare for the new situation. For transport via the Netherlands, this means registering with 'Portbase', the digital port community system, which will ensure the smooth flow of traffic and goods through any of the five Dutch ferry terminals. Portbase, a non-profit entity, was set up by the private sector in the Netherlands in close cooperation with Dutch Customs, SPS and infrastructure authorities. After paying a one-off registration fee, use of the system is free. Companies shipping goods through a Dutch port should arrange for partners in their logistical chain to register their freight in the Portbase system.

The Netherlands is working closely with ferry companies, terminals and port authorities, and is committed to ensuring ongoing smooth traffic to and from the UK. However, all change brings new challenges, so some disruptions may occur. The Dutch government is ready, and preparations have been made, including in traffic management systems, to prevent serious traffic congestion in port areas.
